With videos that transform the story arc into art, Dave first put his UMD degrees in English and journalism to work in television. Inspired by community, he launched his own videography business before being lured back to campus in 2016. It’s as if the Bulldog Gods heard our wishes for someone to infuse stagnant stories with motion. So many things that happen at UMD are better told through the vibrance of cinema. Ironically enough, our graphic designer learned the ins and outs of dairy while working in a cheese shop in California... after growing up in Wisconsin. This proves of how creative she truly is. Further evidence can be found in her beautiful designs. No surprise—since she received both her bachelor’s and master’s degree at UMD. For fun, show her a document with seven or eight different fonts—the reaction is priceless!
